To help our client customers find providers based on recommendations from people who are similar to them.
By matching consumers with reviews from people with similar backgrounds and values, reviews become more relevant and trustworthy. This will help consumers make better informed medical decisions.
The design process of this project had multiple rounds of research, conceptualization, wireframing and designing.
We wanted to understand the context of the issues at hand, so we began by researching how recent changes in the healthcare system (via the Affordable Care Act) has impacted consumers in the healthcare industry. With a better understanding of the problem context, we shifted our secondary research focus to better understanding the way patients search for doctors.
Both the high level and the low level flow diagrams were used to illustrate the user interaction with the new search experience. While the high level flow helped in communicating with different stakeholders, the low level flow helped in detailing the user experience and considering the different scenarios.
Two types of wireframes were used in this project. Low fidelity wireframes were used during brainstorming and medium fidelity wireframes were used to communicate with the client and get feedback.
We did two rounds of designs in this project. The two screens on the left are samples from the final designs. These screens do a good job in demonstrating the final product.
